SPRING STREET SOCIAL IS SHORTENING ITS NAME TO - THE SOCIAL BONDI. AS MANY OF YOU ARE AWARE WE HAVE CLOSED OUR DOORS TO SPRING STREET AND BEGUN CONSTRUCTION ON OUR NEW & IMPROVED LIVE MUSIC ROOM / COCKTAIL BAR / RESTAURANT

 

OUR NEW AND REFORMED VENUE WILL STILL FOCUS ON THREE KEY ELEMENTS, FOOD, COCKTAILS AND OF COURSE LIVE LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL JAZZ & BLUES ARTISTS. 

 

OUR NEW AND EXCITING DINNER MENU WILL CENTRE AROUND BRITISH AND FRENCH CUISINE, CRAFTED BY THE TALENTED HEAD CHEF JAMIE DYBALL. WE HAVE BEEN VERY FORTUNATE TO HAND-SELECT A NEW TEAM TO DELIVER AN AMAZING TASTING SENSATION IN OUR NEW COCKTAIL MENU, EXPECT SOMETHING FRESH NEW AND THEATRICAL.

DYBALL

JAMIE STARTED AS A KITCHEN HAND AT THE AGE OF 15 IN SCOTLAND. WHEN HE WAS 17, JAMIE WENT TO LONDON AND STARTED WORKING WITH CHEF MATHEW BURNS, AN ENGLISH CHEF WHO WORKED IN A 3-STAR MICHELIN RESTAURANT. JAMIE ALSO WORKED IN A FRENCH BISTRO IN LONDON FOR THREE YEARS BEFORE HE WENT BACK TO EDINBURGH AND WORKED WITH CHEF DAVID WILLIAMS, WHO OWNED A 3-STAR MICHELIN RESTAURANT IN FRANCE.
